The central hub of everything theatre in Western Australia (and for good reason), you can catch world-class performances by The Black Swan State Theatre. There is always something special about going to the theatre, and it is a fantastic pre-dinner activity (as you can discuss the show at length over dinner!).
Make sure to catch The Glass Menagerie at His Majesty’s Theatre starring the much loved Mandy McElhinney between 2 — 21 August. You can also see Oil at Heath Ledger Theatre between 5 — 27 November.

WA Museum Boola Bardip
Be sure to check out the free permanent Illuminate: Timescapes immersive experience at the museum’s Old Gael building. Watch the Old Gaol’s walls illuminate with a stunning light show, inspired by the six Nyoongar seasons, capturing West Australia’s natural beauty and rich indigenous history.
The Art Gallery of Western Australia
A quintessential date experience, going to the art gallery together is a wonderful opportunity to check out some fantastic local artists and be fascinated by the storytelling capabilities of art. Be sure to check out the following exhibitions this season:
